Hello all,

Heidi needs some help this time. And judging by the responses received from my last request for help, you will have received the same request via email before you read this.

Heidi’s Year 11 class are going to read extracts from Notes From A Small Island by Bill Bryson. They are then going to write their own Notes From An Even Smaller Island (Bahrain).

But she needs something that will give them a bit of a background idea about the British psyche. She thought about starting off showing them an episode of Only Fools and Horses or Fawlty Towers, but I need some other ideas.

My ideas are the PG tips ads, The Sun and Eastenders.

The rules are that everything has to be locatable online - Youtube is fine, I think - depends on what is being advertised around it.
